“Cinema Museum” in Rome
Our competition project "Cinema Museum" in Rome.
The statics of the eternal city of Rome and the movement of cinematography are the basis of the architectural image of the building.
The green hill rises to the roof of the museum. It acquires a terraced structure, with three public observation decks open to the excavations and the Colosseum and accessible by gentle external stairs.
The interior space of the building is formed by spiral "streets" of permanent museum exposition, passing around the central atrium, which is the heart of the museum.
