Concert Hall OSTCHEM is located in the central part of Gorlivka, in close proximity to the park and the administrative area of the city. The Concert Hall includes premises and areas intended for different purposes: an auditorium for 1000 people; facilities for sports and recreational activities for 50 people; movie theater with 240 seats; dance hall; artistic premises; wardrobe; buffet for visitors and others.

The new architecture of the building is based on maximum preservation of the existing architectural elements – protruding brick pylons, which attain a modern appearance due to composite finishing panels. The windows in the main facade have been replaced with modern stained glass systems.
The main principle of the reconstruction of this site was to ensure wise use of the existing building to create its innovative shape within a limited budget.
The main entrance and the entrance for VIP guests are emphasized with extraordinary architectural structures, which due to their shape appear mobile and resemble take-off wings. The architecture of a typically Soviet building unexpectedly goes indicative and memorable.

As a contractor, Modus Construction Group was engaged in implementation of the idea for reconstruction of OSTCHEM Concert Hall building. Performs work in the manufacture and installation of metal entrance groups, strengthening of building structures, dismantling of existing entrances, the device monolithic structures entrances. Work was carried out in extremely reduce construction time. Realization gains, installation of steel structures, concrete work, tiling and glazing took only 4 months. The peculiarity of the construction works was the installation of the central elements of the facade, which are separate unrelated cantilever elements with an outreach of more than 7 meters.

Technical inspection of building structures SE CSCC PAO "Concern Stirol" was conducted in order to determine their technical condition and make recommendations to strengthen the structures in the reconstruction of the object.
The inspection detected a number of defects and damages typical for this kind of project: corrosive damage, weathering and cracks in the masonry, water stains, exposed reinforcing bars and so on.
We did sampling of steel from roof trusses for further chemical analysis, measured strength characteristics of reinforced concrete elements using non-destructive methods, did sampling and determined characteristics of the roof insulation and screed.
Along with the technical inspection we conducted special dynamic tests of console elements, mounted on the façade, to determine their dynamic characteristics (natural vibrations frequency, logarithmic decrement). The resulting full-scale characteristics indicated the need for special dampers that were designed and installed on the structures. The effectiveness of such dampers was tested experimentally on the basis of changes in the characteristics of vibrations in resonant mode, which was achieved by installing onto the elements a special vibrator.
